Arrived at the clinic at 7 am to 50+ women waiting/hoping to be registered and seen.

(strange) side note: La Doctoras wear high-heeled sandals for an 8hr shift on their feet (!) I kid you not. (to put themselves 3 inches above their patients?)

We found at least 8 cases that needed biopsy to rule out cancer...so a job well-done

The "Certification Ceremony at the end of the day was rewarding - 9 new OB/Gyns who are familiar with a low-cost, doable option for diagnosing and treating cervical cancer.

Tomorrow a long drive up into the mountains to spend some time in the village of Jalapa.
